A series of incredibly stupid moves -- by all concerned -- leads the kidnappers to kidnap the wrong woman, and Marie, by kicking an empty soda can from her hiding place, to involuntarily accompany said wrong woman (Falsche Frau). Many more false moves follow, and the perpetrator should come as no surprise.
