This documentary on the life of Lino Miccichè, a leading Italian intellectual, film critic and historian, columnist and cultural organizer is narrated from the personal point of view of his son, the director Francesco Miccichè. Its account of Lino Miccichès intense life, enriched with previously unpublished Rai archive material, effectively traces the full span of Italian cinema from the 1950s until the first decade of this century, using this narrative to reflect on a whole generation of fathers and what they left to their sons.
