Sarah has been unsuccessful interesting a literary agent in her novel, "Crazy Connected Thing." She picks up the first eight chapters from the agent's sympathetic secretary and goes to a coffee house to think through what to do next. A thief steals the bag off the back of her chair - with her wallet and the eight chapters. She returns to her apartment and calls her bank to cancel her credit card. While she's on hold, she gets a call from a stranger whose read the eight chapters and has some praise, criticism, and questions. It's the thief. His comments make some sense. What should Sarah do?
