A teenager struggling with his gender attempts to reconcile with his identity. Alex a 14-year-old teenager, is best friends with Hendrik - boyfriend of his sister Annelies. Alex finds in Hendrik a man in which he can lay down his trust. At the countryside Alex shrinks because of villagers watching him like an odd one. It's obvious Alex' struggle barricades who he truly is. When Hendrik and Annelies announce to leave the family home, Alex faces what is troubling him.
