the comedy follows Paul, an overindulged only child who is born to two doting helicopter parents. As he approaches 30, Paul is forced to acknowledge that his dream of becoming a famous singer and songwriter isn’t happening. When he’s wrenched from the comfort of his family home, he must try to stand on his own so he takes the gig of front man for a local wedding band — where he learns about much more than wedding reception staples.
