A blackmailing doctor is shot and stumbles into the street and is promptly run over by a taxicab. This gives the police all the suspects they can sift through; the doctor's girl friend;the girl friend's boy friend; the taxicab driver; a sneak thief; ...and a doorman, a gangster and an elderly patient of the doctor.
