James Leahy is a writer and film historian who has lectured on the cinema in Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. His articles have appeared in publications as diverse as "The Chicago Daily News", "Sight & Sound", "South", "The Monthly Film Bulletin" and "The Guardian". He was a founding Co-editor of the media periodical "Vertigo".
