米哈尔·维尼克,Michal Vinik (b. 1976, Haifa, Israel) studied screenwriting and direction at Tel Aviv University’s Film and Television Department, where she currently teaches as well. Her short films Bait (2009) and Reality Check (Srak, 2011) were screened at Locarno and Sundance, and received awards both in Israel and further afield. Her debut Barash (2015) had its world premiere at San Sebastián and won three prizes at the Haifa IFF and Best Film at Outview, Greece’s LGBTQI film festival. The director is currently putting together her second feature film, Christina’s Child.
