Carlos R. Bermúdez，Carlos R. Bermudez was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and graduated from Las Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His career as a writer began in 1988 with the guidance and support of Family Ties' creator, Gary David Goldberg. In 1995 he received his first writing assignment on Valdez, an NBC pilot starring Cheech Marin and Bill Macy.
