Jan Zázvorka was born on May 2, 1914 in Prague, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary. He was an art director and production designer, known for The Emperor and the Golem (1952), Nocní motýl (1941) and Muz z prvního století (1962). He died on January 14, 1991.
