John Neschling was born in 1947 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is a composer, known for Kiss of the Spider Woman (1985), Pixote: A Lei do Mais Fraco (1981) and Basquiat (1996). He is married to Patrícia Melo. They have one child. He was previously married to Lucélia Santos.
