Alton Tabor attended the Holloway School of Drama in San Francisco and the School of Drama at the University of Oklahoma. In the 1950s he appeared in countless TV commercials for Alberto VO5, Pepsi-Cola, Sears, Oldsmobile, Maywood-Bell Ford, Vic Tanny Gyms, Beltone Hearing Aids and others.
