Andy Ladas gad a reputation as one of the finest mandolin players in America. He also excelled with a banjo and the guitar, and taught all three instruments at the Detroit Conservatory of Music. He also was featured with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, being the first to introduce a banjo in conjunction with a symphony orchestra.
