George Stewart was born in Chicago Illinois in 1915, and was the son of George Stewart Sr. of Edinburgh Scotland, and Mary Brigid Dowling of Kildare Ireland (Stage name Mae Bruce). Both George's parents were in the Movie Industry, as was George's older sister Mary.
