Mahboubeh Honarian was born in Isfahan, Iran, in 1962. Being interested in film and media led her first to study Journalism in college. Then, she obtained her BA. in Humanities with Media and Cultural Studies bias and soon after that finished her MSc. in Engineering Multimedia, all in the United Kingdom.
