Gregory Marc，He was one of the great Iranian painters and one of the pioneers of Iranian modern painting. He was specially interested in a traditional school of painting called "coffee-house painting" and aimed to revive it through blending with modern ideas. He left Iran after 1979 revolution and stayed for some years in US.
