Rolf Schrader made his filmmaking debut directing a number of award-winning documentaries, public service announcements and music videos. He then wrote and directed his first short film _Where River Flows (1994) which premiered as one of the six Opening Night Gala films at the 1995 Toronto Worldwide Short Film Festival.
