Gary Schmoeller joined Filmwerks at its founding in 1993, as a Producer on a three-picture deal between Trimark Pictures and Filmwerks. He began his film career as a Production Manager for four feature films and then moved to producing. He has produced 20 films as a true "indie producer" with budgets of "micro" size of $750,000 to $6.5 million.
