Per Ståle Lønning，Was born at the farm of his parents Selma and Per Lønning. Lived there until he was 15, then he went to sea. Started journalist-college in the beginning of 1970. Started to work in television in the beginning of the 1980s where he was a sports reorter/commentator. Throughout the 80s he did radio and television work for NRK.
