Gulnar Kheiralla，Born on the Oglala Sioux reservation, the daughter of an Egyptian-born medical doctor and a Baltimore native of German ancestry, Gulnar Khieralla finished high school in Chicago at the age of fifteen and would subsequently earn a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago's Oriental Institute, specializing in Islamic art.
